In London We can collect and deliver clocks for repair or restoration through Golders Green, Finchley, Hampstead and Highgate, Camden, Islington, Westminster, City, etc... Simply, N, NW and C postcodes..

Stamford is a superb old market town, the half way point between the London and Harrogate; our workshops there take up three floors of one of the town's many former coaching inns, "the Olive Branch" built in 1666.

Our Hatton Garden workshop is open for collection and delivery Mon-Fri, again, fully secured and insured. Clocks are usually taken back to Stamford for any work required.

We can help with care of antique longcase clocks (or grandfather clocks), bracket clocks, carriage clocks, striking and repeating carriage clocks, French mantle clocks, single, double and tripple fusee clocks, and of course, lantern clocks.

EXHIBITIONS

"Time and Place" An exhibition by the Antiquarian Horological Society at the Museum of the History of Science, Oxford, ran from 25th November 2006 to 15th April 2007. Covers English Country (not London) Clocks 1600-1840. It was pleasing to note that 5 of the 68 clocks chosen for this pivotal exhibition had been through our workshops!
"BHI 150th". This is the Horological Institute's 150th year and the Institute is planning a huge show this summer between the 7th and 15th of June 2008. We will be exhibiting there and hope to see you too - lectures, auctions, unveiling of the three pendulum Project 150 clock, the BHI tourbillon watch goes on sale, stonking raffle with prizes from Rolex, Mont Blanc and others...

Robert should be around for most of it. John and Wayne will certainly be exhibiting their skills there over the three days

              VACANCY

We are recruiting for an experienced watchmaker to join us in Stamford.
You should have at least two years' bench experience, be happy to turn and fit staffs and stems if needed and have a fair understanding of the trade (including the Swiss watch parts supply situation). An outstanding opportunity for development.
Salaried, in pleasant working conditions. We encourage further qualification and CPD, and offer 28 days holiday and a pension scheme. Alas, EU citizens only for now.
